Jonathan Neudorf Returns to the No. 131 McLaren for the Road Atlanta GT4 America Weekend
6 min

Advance Motorsports is bringing back a proven pairing for one of the biggest race weekends of the year. Canadian driver Jonathan Neudorf rejoins the team for the Pirelli GT4 America round at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, June 13–15, sharing the No. 131 McLaren Artura GT4 with team co-owner Austin Jurs.
A Driver Pairing That's Already Proven Fast
This isn't a first date. Neudorf and Jurs shared the No. 131 Artura GT4 earlier this season at Sonoma Raceway, and the chemistry was immediate — the pairing put the McLaren on pole position early in the weekend before mechanical issues cut their charge short.
The speed was real. Now the goal at Road Atlanta is simple: convert it.
For a team in its first full season of Pirelli GT4 America competition, driver continuity is one of the most valuable assets there is. Every session Neudorf and Jurs share builds a deeper baseline — on car setup, on communication, on how to extract lap time from the Artura GT4 platform. As Austin Jurs put it, Neudorf brings serious experience and speed to the program, and the lessons from Sonoma and Sebring give the duo a real foundation to build on in Georgia.
Who Is Jonathan Neudorf?
Jonathan Neudorf is a Canadian sports car racer whose experience and pace made an immediate impact when he first joined the Advance Motorsports lineup this season. Beyond raw speed, his value to a young program is in development — helping refine setups, benchmark performance, and accelerate the learning curve for both the team and co-driver Austin Jurs.
His return for Road Atlanta gives Advance Motorsports a stable, proven lineup at one of the most demanding circuits on the SRO America calendar.
Why Road Atlanta Is a Big Deal
Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is one of the crown jewels of American road racing. The 2.54-mile, 12-turn circuit in Braselton, Georgia is famous for its fast, flowing rhythm and dramatic elevation changes — from the plunge through the Esses to the blind, downhill charge into Turn 12 under the bridge.
It's a track that rewards commitment and punishes hesitation, which makes it a serious test for every driver and car in the GT4 America field. For the McLaren Artura GT4, with its lightweight carbon chassis and stable high-speed aerodynamics, the fast sweepers of Road Atlanta are an opportunity to shine.
The Pirelli GT4 America weekend runs June 13–15, 2026, featuring two sprint races as part of the SRO America championship schedule.
The Advance Motorsports Story Keeps Building
Founded by the father-son duo of Todd and Austin Jurs, Advance Motorsports has quickly become one of the most talked-about new teams in the GT4 America paddock. The journey from local racing roots to a national professional GT program has drawn a growing fan following — documented race by race through the team's media channels.
Todd Jurs summed up the mindset heading into Georgia: the team is learning and improving every time it hits the track, and having Neudorf back in the car is a chance to maximize the weekend and keep pushing the program forward.
