Advance Motorsports Is Going GT4 Racing: Our 2026 Pirelli GT4 America Entry with the McLaren Artura GT4
9 min

Advance Motorsports is officially entering Pirelli GT4 America for the 2026 season, campaigning the No. 131 McLaren Artura GT4 in one of North America's most competitive professional GT championships. This is the biggest step yet for our family-founded race team and here's everything you need to know about the program, the car, and what's ahead.
Who Is Advance Motorsports?
Advance Motorsports was founded in 2020 by the father-son duo of Todd and Austin Jurs. From day one, our mission has been simple: build a professional, competitive GT racing program that develops young driving talent and establishes a lasting presence in North American sports car racing.
That vision becomes reality in 2026 as we take the grid in Pirelli GT4 America, the premier GT4 championship in the United States, sanctioned by SRO Motorsports Group America.
Austin Jurs pulls double duty as both driver and team co-owner a rare family-led structure at the professional GT level. Todd Jurs brings more than three decades of business leadership and operational expertise to the program, while Austin directs the team's on-track performance and competitive strategy.
For Austin, this season is the realization of a lifelong ambition. As he put it, competing in GT4 America alongside his father makes the debut even more meaningful a sentiment that captures exactly what this team is about.
Why the McLaren Artura GT4?
Choosing the right race car is one of the most important decisions any GT4 team makes. For Advance Motorsports, the McLaren Artura GT4 stood out for three reasons:
A purpose-built GT4 machine. The Artura GT4 is McLaren's latest customer racing platform, built around a lightweight carbon-fiber chassis, a twin-turbo V6 engine, and race-proven aerodynamics developed specifically for GT4 competition.
Factory-level support from McLaren Customer Racing. McLaren Customer Racing was instrumental in our decision to enter Pirelli GT4 America. The technical collaboration, professional development environment, and connection to McLaren's global GT racing ecosystem give a first-year team like ours a serious foundation to build on.
Proven pace in GT4 America. The Artura GT4 has already shown it can fight at the front of the GT4 America field against rivals from Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-AMG, Aston Martin, Toyota, and Ford exactly the level of competition we want to measure ourselves against.
What Is Pirelli GT4 America?
If you're new to sports car racing, Pirelli GT4 America is a professional sprint racing championship run by SRO Motorsports Group America. The series features production-based GT4 race cars from the world's top manufacturers competing at iconic American circuits think Sonoma, Sebring, Circuit of The Americas, Road America, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Races are broadcast live and free, making GT4 America one of the most accessible ways to follow top-tier GT racing in the United States. It's also one of the deepest GT4 grids anywhere in the world, which is exactly why we chose it for our professional debut.
Our Goals for the 2026 Season
The 2026 Pirelli GT4 America season is a milestone year for Advance Motorsports. Our focus:
Show up prepared and competitive at every round of the championship
Build momentum race by race as we learn the car, the tracks, and the series
Develop young talent a founding pillar of the team since 2020
Lay the groundwork for long-term success in professional GT racing
As Todd Jurs sees it, racing at this level lets Advance Motorsports prove itself in one of the highest professional GT categories in the country and the team is committed to being there for the long haul.
